These guys are seriously one of the cutest families I have ever photographed! I first did their pictures 2 years ago when their boys were much smaller. They have since added baby Cora to the mix…is she not the sweetest baby girl you have ever seen? I just love these kids, and they were SO good for me! They drove all the way from the Phoenix area for their photos – how cool is that? This is also officially my last session until September…baby watch is officially on…only a few weeks to go now!
I hope you guys love your pictures, and I cannot wait to see a pic of them hanging in your house. It was so wonderful to see you all again!
We started out by re-visiting a location I took them to during our first session together. I love the turquoise and the rust together…I’m a color wheel freak!
Then we headed to the mountains…I love the vast variety of locations we have so close to home here!We finally headed out of town for a bit…the cuteness is too much!Mom wanted some shots of baby Cora wearing this adorable dress. I totally get that…you should see the crazy shopping spree I went on when I found out that Millie was a girl (after a string of 4 boys). Cora *appeared* to have about had it with this whole family picture taking thing, but surprised us with some last minute smiles. What a sweet baby! I know I’m posting too many here but I just can’t help it!
I did Mary’s senior photos a few months back (you can see those HERE) and knew she would be the perfect model for a shoot my friend Jamie Rubeis and I had cooked up. This was to be my last shoot before taking a 3 month hiatus on maternity leave while waiting for the arrival of my newest baby boy sometime in June. It is SO fun to go out with a bang. I’m looking forward to my break but had SO much fun doing this shoot with Jamie & Mary. Our concept was a glamorous spring vintage look and Mary pulled this of beautifully! She is absolutely stunning! It’s late as I’m posting this now, so I think I’ll let the photos do the talking. Enjoy! =)
What can I say about baby Bishop…he is cute, cuddly, sweet, precious, adorable, loved…I could go on and on. It was such an honor to be welcomed into this family’s home to take Bishop’s newborn portraits. Bishop’s session embodies everything I want a newborn session to be…all about the baby…no frill and no fluff…just a lot of new baby sweetness in all it’s natural glory. Thank you M. family for allowing me into your home in these first few precious days with your new baby boy. I hope you love these images of your sweetie as much as I do.
We even made a quick trip outside to get an outdoor portrait of baby Bishop. The elements definitely were not in our favor that day (gnats, cool temps, wind and even a cloud that decided to dump rain on us) but I absolutely LOVE this picture and am so glad I was able to add it to his gallery.
